I just ran into this property during a pre-view for a client. It is located in Buckhead Atlanta, one of the most desired location in the city!!
The home is listed for under $180K which is hard to believe. But I couldn't help but consider again why people continue to rent.
Don't get me wrong I was there before. My credit was less than perfect and coming up with 20% down takes some time, others rent because they've recently relocated and need some time to familiarize them-selves with a new city.
But outside of these very good reasons for renting a lot of people rent simple because they do not know better, they think mortgages are expensive and that getting a mortgage loan is more complicated that it actually is.
So to break it down.
On average the rent in Buckhead for a 3 bedroom is between $1500-$2300 a month, owning this home, even if you put very little down is going to be close to $1300!!!
