The Holiday Season is now in full force, and I'm sure everybody can agree that going to the mall right now, is probably the last place that you would want to do. However, if you're going to weather the crowd, and take the trek to the Gardens Mall, you're in for a treat!
Tomorrow, Thursday, December 17th starting at 1:00 pm The Gardens Mall invites you to soak in an hour long performance, The Toymaker's Christmas, presented by local children from Parents Educating Children.
Parents Educating Children is a local non-profit organization that supports local home-schooled children in the Greater Palm Beach County area. This organization's mission is "to support and encourage its member parents who are engaged in a home education program, as well as those considering homeschooling as an academic option". Membership to this organization is open to all who are engaged in a home education program or considering home education, and also requires annual dues of only $25.
For these small annual dues, members are granted access to
- PEC's secure member website that is rich in information to enhance your family's home-school experience. This also includes updates and access to other members through the website's forum.
- PEC sponsored activities and field trips (such as The Toymaker's Christmas). Additionally, there is a Spelling Bee, a Geography Bee, International Night, American History Night, teen proms, monthly events, and a high school graduation ceremony!
- Parent meetings and special events
- Support groups throughout Palm Beach County
This Holiday Musical Performance will take place in the Grand Court of The Gardens Mall, which is located on the lower level just outside of Macy's.
