Throwback Thursday - The Crowds at Rockefeller Center

Last year my husband and I started a new tradition. We decided to take a trip before Christmas to enjoy being together and to see how Christmas is celebrated in other areas. New York City was the destination of our first trip. It was decked out in holiday regalia and lights and really worked to put us in the Christmas spirit.

Throwback Thursday- The Crowds at Rockefeller Center

No trip to the Big Apple at Christmastime would be complete without visiting Rockefeller Center. Everyone else had the same idea and the crowds were elbow to elbow. It was hard to walk down any sidewalk with all the people stopping and taking selfies to share with friends. While we take selfies we don't share them until we get home as we don't think it is smart letting everyone know when we aren't home and out of town.

Debbie: I lived there for 5 years and absolutely loved the Christmas season there. Several times we even got snowed in. Now THAT was a blast, no cars, no people.

Debbie Reynolds Great pictures and, I'm sure, a great vacation. I grew up in NY and this was a tradition in our family too. We lived 20 minutes from the city. Every year we would go to see the tree, the store windows and the Rockettes in Radio City.
