If you could describe your niche market in one word what would it be?

Real Estate Agent with John L Scott Market Center 700512026

Something as simple as one word, not even a phrase, but honing in on just one word to clearly define your niche market can give you remarkable discipline in staying true to what your are best at when targeting your market with advertising strategies.

That precept can be the true foundation for taking you on a straight path to successfully understanding and promoting  your niche market and what it stands for.

Staying true to one singular concept can keep you from wandering off and muddying the marketing waters for yourself and your target audience.

When I was thinking about this and asked myself that question about my niche market, Fishhawk Lake, my answer was easy, simple and quickly came to mind:

Fishhawk Lake Lifestyle"Lifestyle" at Fishhawk Lake can be connoted in one word, one photograph!

Fishhawk Lake represents a completely unique lifestyle whether it is for the 80% of owners who come periodically to enjoy lake/cabin living OR the full-timers who are giving up the daily rat race as opposed to succumbing to it,  for a lifestyle that is filled with wildness, simplicity, and a way to calm the underlying stress that the rest of the world is caught up in. From that one word, it creates an inumerable amount of avenues to explore and define the kind of lifestyle Fishhawk Lake offers and presents never-ending opportunities to create interesting marketing strategies with that one word in mind.

If you concentrate on the very essence of your niche market, and really scrutinize, ZERO IN on that very definition of what you do, then I promise you, it will allow you the platform for creating many layers to add to that very singular and true description of what you want the world to know about your niche.

Ask yourself, what is that one word that defines my niche market?

I think every LAKE community uses the word "lifestyle" Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 so I'll go out of that box and say "solution". Maybe an odd choice but many of my agents, bosses and clients first came to me because they couldn't resolve a mortgage problem.  After I solved that first problem, I've had a long term relationship or  referral source ever since.  I still solve problem mortgages today

If only allowed one word, it would have to be unique. The more unique a listing, the more challenging to find the right buyer.  I love a challenging property!

chicago-southland - well, its actually 2 words, but sums up the niche I've been serving now 29 years.  Yea, I was a baby when I got started after college graduation.  I have a friend to started right after high school because his parents were well established in the business, and he carried on the family name in the industry.

Gayle - You did an amazing job honing in on your niche market. Lifestyle in Fishhawk Lake is a great niche. I wish I could come up with something like that, but I live in the suburbs. I will have to see if I can come up with a single word to describe my niche.
