Here is a strategy to execute right now - so you're off to a good start in 2016. 

The Holiday Connector Strategy

SantaThe idea is to:
1. Make more money without spending money
2. Help more people
3. Spread good will
4. Reconnect with people who can become clients in 2016
5. Get referrals without being pushy or sleazy

Why it works

Real estate is a people business. One human being helping another human being. People do business (and refer business) to people they like and trust. This strategy establishes connection and trust quickly.

How it works
According to the real estate statistics, average person knows four people who will move in the next 12 months. Using the Holiday Connector you will establish or nurture 60 connections. That's 240 potential moves. Now let's be REALLY conservative and let's say you end up with only 10% of those - that's 24 possible transactions (other factors play a big role here, obviously, so there are no guarantees).

So here is what you do: 

December 23

Part 1: CALL

- Call 10 of your close friends, past clients, current clients, best leads, and family members (SOI)
- Have a short, but PERSONAL, sincere conversation
- Ask them about life, how has 2015 been, what are their plans for Christmas, etc
- Share a cool moment from your life this year that stands out (kids, family, something personal)
- Wish them happy holidays
- Say: "If there is ever anything I can do to help, please get in touch. You have my number and my email, right?"
- Then wish them happy holidays/Merry Christmas

Part 2: EMAIL

- Email 10 people without phone number:

Hey Jim,

Just wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Wow, where did the year go? Hope it's been good.
How is little Susie? I would probably not even recognize her, huh? Is she still playing piano?

Please give my best to Diane and the kids. Hope to catch up soon -- with more than just an email. You know I just realized I don't have your new cell number. What is it?

Part 3: FACEBOOK MESSAGE

Send a private Facebook message to people without phone number and without email.

Hey Jim, just wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Wow, where did the year go? Hope it's been good.
