You can hang them by the chimney, by the stairs, by your windows, by the porch or even on the walls. Stockings are very colorful Christmas decor which you can buy from any department store. You can also customize each stockings by putting the name of each family member on the stockings. Children, as well as adults, will certainly love this idea.

2. Old Christmas cards or posters. Make a trip to memory lane by collecting Christmas cards from the previous years and putting them on a cork board or a frame.
