5-Minute Holiday Decorating Ideas

Christmas is just around the corner and the holiday rush is  making it difficult for you to keep up with your Holiday To Do List. Oh, and you've forgotten to buy a Christmas tree.

Whether you're busy preparing for a holiday getaway or you got an extra long Christmas shopping list to take care of,  these 5-minute decorating ideas will help make your home more Christmas-y without spending too much time.

1. Hang some stockings. Christmas stockings are one of the most common symbols of Christmas, and the easiest one to prepare. You can hang them by the chimney, by the stairs, by your windows, by the porch or even on the walls.  Stockings are very colorful Christmas decor which you can buy from any department store. You can also customize each stockings by putting the name of each family member on the stockings. Children, as well as adults, will certainly love this idea.

2. Old Christmas cards or posters. Make a trip to memory lane by collecting Christmas cards from the  previous years and putting them on a cork board or a frame. You can also be creative and pin these cards to a long stick suspended between two vases. This decor brings an air of nostalgia and will make you remember old happy memories, old friends and previous holiday celebrations.
