Bluffton truly is a "State of Mind"

"Bluffton, it's a state of mind" is the common phrase and way of life for the residents of our small but growing coastal town just over the bridge from Hilton Head Island.  Bluffton originated as an antebellum retreat for plantation owners who built homes and cottages on the riverbanks of a breezy raised bluff to escape the inland summer heat.  Bluffton has experienced recent growth in popularity, population and actual size through city annexation, yet is still is being referred to by some as "the last true coastal village of the South".

Situated twelve miles west of Hilton Head Island and twenty miles northeast of Savannah, with easy access to major state routes, highways, and international airports, Bluffton is an attractive alternative to big city pace and congestion.   A growing arts community, plans for long range "Old Town" revitalization and a strong focus on controlling growth and developments in favor of protecting waterways and natural beauty has strengthened the interest of the area.  Some of the longtime real estate professionals are now referring to the area as the "Hampton's of the South".

Real Estate opportunities range from $120,000.00 for one or two bedroom Villas to affordable single family homes stating in the low $200,000.00s to multimillion dollar riverfront homes with traditional lowcountry charm.   Please contact me: Stacey Macioszek at smacioszek@yahoo.comor 843.301.2454 for information about the area or about this blog.
