Good morning everyone-Christmas is nearly upon us. For some it is a wonderful time with family, lots of folks decorate for the holidays. I don't really do that anymore. I love seeing Christmas lights and decorations though but just don't want to bother doing the work to have it done here at home. Well this year for me I had an opportunity to see many Christmas decorations and lights when I went to Pigeon Forge in November. It was beautiful so I had my Christmas in a way in November. Here are several of the decorations and lights I saw while there.
This light display was set up in a stadium and when you went in you turned on the radio to a particular station and the music was synchronized with the moment of the lights. You drove thru this stadium that had been marked with lighted green arrows and orange lights on the fencing. You had your vehicle lights off and so the only illuminated green and orange lights to guide you thru.
I thought I was managing alright but apparently when I got to this one area. A fellow who was there helping folks told me I needed to take a sharp turn to follow one of the green areas. I had gone about 2/3 of the way thru it and I was in a area where there was room to park your car and he told me I was welcome to park there and watch the show. So that is what I did. It was awesome to be able to sit there and listen and watch the show vs driving thru it in the dark with bad eyes and trying to snap photos too.
It was a beautiful and delightful time. Well worth the trip to find it. I have many more pics of other decorations and Christmas lights that I will share in a different blog. This first pic I think is where I parked and then got out and took this.
Hope you enjoyed the show. Sorry some of them weren't as clear as I would have liked.
