I have been seeing blogs of gas prices dropping below $2.00 per gallon in other parts of the Country. This past month we finally started to see Gas Below $2.00 Per Gallon Finally Arrived In CT, in fact some of the off brands are even below $1.90.
It has been a long time since gas was below $2.00 a gallon in CT., and I do not remember the date gas was last at this price. But I do know it was three cars ago and the reason I sold my Nisan Xtera.
As glad as I am to see gas drop below $2.00 per gallon again, it is still to high. I don't expect it to be at 50 cents per gallon when I was a kid, but I do feel it should drop at least another 50 cents per gallon.
In the mean time I am happy to see a steady drop in gas prices, but hope this does not deter us from pursuing other fuel alternatives. In my opinion the Middle East has already gotten to much of our money, and it is time to stop funding their terrorist activities with our gas and oil money.
