Christmas is a time of year my family looks forward, to and this year was worth the wait, 2015 Christmas Was A Very Special Day In The Souto Household. Our 2015 Christmas was celebrated with the exchanging of gifts, and followed by an excellent dinner.
This year was my gorgeous granddaughter Elizabeth's second Christmas, and she was the center of attention as she opened up her gift. However, as much as she liked her many gifts what caught her attention the most was the keys in our key rack. It is amazing what fascinates kids and captures their attention.
It took a while for Elizabeth to open up and check out all her gifts. Along the way she had to play with the important ones, like the paper the gifts were wraped in as well as the boxes. I don't know who had more fun, Elizabeth or the rest of us watching her.
After opening presents our 2015 Christmas Day continued with our special Christmas Dinner of prime rib roast with twice baked potatoes, jumbo baked stuffed shrimp, and green beans. My son Brandon and his wife Leah did the cooking and did a job even chef Gordon Ramsay would have been proud of.
Even though those of you reading this blog could not share special 2015 Christmas Day with us yesterday, I hope the pictures above at least made you feel a little part of it.
