Take Some Risks In 2016 ~ What are you going to do that is different?

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage NRDS # 146013739

As we push through the last days of 2015, there is no better time to think about how you are going to do things different and better in 2016. There is an old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"  So I understand if you are a little timid of taking a risk.

  • Start with one thing -  Something that takes you out of your comfort level. What is the worst that could happen?  Well, it might not work.  But that in itself is a learning experience.  You have gained insight into what does not work.
  • If it works, try something else out of your comfort level.  If it doesn't work, try something else!  Tap into the knowledge of what you just learned trying something new.
  • Give it a chance to work before pulling the plug.
  • Make small adjustments. Tweek it just enough to help bring different results.

We have all seen the changes over the years with selling and marketing real estate.  Years ago, homes were listed in newspapers and magazines, and you needed to spend time on the weekend visiting open houses to see what you like. Then the internet happened! Real estate websites started to take off and then reciprocal listings were syndicated and it continues to evolve.  So, what is the next best thing out there?

What new thing will you do in 2016 that will open that new door?

I hope 2016 brings you a lot of new doors to open. Much Success!

The trick is that you get uncomfortable...stay there....and work thru it....lessons to be learned with a little "itching powder' in the marketing mix !
