Evernote is one of the most popular apps for storing data and improving productivity. But many people don’t know some of its best features. This is an app that you do need to take a little time to learn so you see how you can utilize it for the way you want to work.
One feature that I use many times every day in my business is Evernote Web Clipper. I added this function from Evernote to my Chrome browser so it's always available when I'm on the web. Evernote's Webclipper allows me to save any pages I want for reference, tag then to find easily later, set a reminder if it's something I want to remember or act on, or Webclipper will keep any screenshots all filed where I want them with tags and reminder alarms too.
If I see something on a website or there's something in an email I want to save I just click on the Evernote icon in my browser, select whatever part I want to save and then tag it for filing into Evernote. The information is stored and I can find it any time from any device with internet access. No more scraps of paper or folders of emails to save data and ideas in case I need them later.
If you have an Evernote account you can add Web Clipper into your browser in less than a minute. Just go to https://evernote.com/webclipper/, click on the button and select the browsers you use. It really is that easy.
My desk is almost clear of paper now. Thank you, Evernote!
