Tuesday Travelogue December 29th
Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 74th week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
I thought we'd take a post-Christmas tour beyond our borders as well as in the US.
The first stop: Germany for mulled wine, a midieval castle and more! Andrea Bedard goes home for the holidays.
Onto Prince Edward Island and a different season altogether! Lobster season in Canada, thank you, George W, Jordan.
Alaska ALWAYS makes me think of Christmas, and those of you from there, probably think I'm crazy, but it DOES! (Debb Janes, are you listening??)
These photos are definitely not taken at Christmas, but this animal makes me think of that time of year, regardless Alaska and Moose Moments=festive! Debra Leisek takes us there.
Many of you have been to Paris, but I haven't, so anytime I can tag along virtually, I will. Robert (Bob) Gilbert took us there to visit Jim Morrison's grave earlier this year.
Since it's just after Christmas, I thought I'd end on a snowy note, with a Snowman (or woman?) Contest. Can you guess where this is? Russ Ravary shares his annual event.
Happy (end of) December, stay warm and enjoy the indoors or go to somewhere sunny if the mood strikes!! See you next week for another Tuesday Travelogue.
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Feel free to join our group:
