Christmas Sights and Sounds Around Highlands Ranch, CO We have a Christmas Eve tradition, I am sure like a lot of families to go around to different neighborhoods and see all the spectacular Christmas displays in the area. We usually go to our Churches Christmas service and then through the ritzy neighborhood that surrounds the church, some serious money is pumped into these displays, and one of our annual favorites is a home that is owned by a childhood friends uncle who is in charge of several zoos across the nation and always puts on the Denver Zoo-lights displays. this year he did not disappoint.
This year we had a bit of a different approach to Christmas however, and what we saw in another nearby neighborhood was so amazing we had to find a parking place a few doors down just to get a glimpse. The home had its very own radio station and the lights were all choreographed to several songs, you pull up to the house, tune into the station and watch the show. It had already been a long night, but we must have sat there for at least a half an hour, the gracious owner came out and explained his set up to anyone that would roll their window down and give a listen, I recorded a few full versions, but due to Youtubes music rights, I could not play a whole song and decided to share just a portion of one of those here.
the video does not do it justice, there is so much to capture just by being there and witnessing, but take note of as much as you can, especially the little sign in the neighbors yard to the right corner, that points back to the house and simply says "DITTO
Enjoy, and if you would like to drive by to see this home it will be lit up every night until January 15th 2016, the 4217 Greenfinch Drive Littleton, CO 80126
