Happy Holidays from Kristin Hamilton Inland Empire Real Estate 

I took this photo while waiting to get on the freeway last week. Of course I could have gotten a citation for picking up my phone but thought it was worth the risk and I was stopped at a long light and put my car in park. Riding a bike is such a well loved and popular sport in California so why not Santa?

We are pretty relaxed here in Southern California and here was Santa on his way to an important date just a few days before Christmas. My friend who is a police officer saw it and was really excited  until he found out I was parked at a street light near the freeway. Then it was "Would that photo be worth a $140 ticket and a hit on your insurance?" I probably wouldn't of liked either of those things but it just took me two seconds and then I was still sitting there waiting for the green light!!! I say "Bah Humbug".

Yes in CA we cannot text or email while driving so if we pick up our cell phone we can get a ticket. Most of us just have bluetooth to save our driving records. And it counts as a point against our insurance so our rates go up. I still took the chance to get the photo as it was a once in a lifetime shot.

After I put the phone down, the light had changed to green to let the traffic getting off the freeway and a CA Highway Patrol car passed by. Anything for the shop I told myself but he couldn't have seen me since it was on a hilly offramp.
