Midnight in the last state to celebrate New Years Eve

By
Real Estate Agent with Resort and Second-Home Specialist REALTOR Broker #21673

Midnight comes to Hawaii five hours after the ball drops in New York's Times Square. And two hours after the fireworks on California's coast. But we DO know how to celebrate here!

The parties start early, often at the beach with lots of fireworks, and just keep on going till the clock strikes midnight.

And we don't say "Happy New Year" much here on the islands, instead it's the Hawaiian greeting we use.
