Be careful what you put on the internet.

Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

Once again, information put out on the internet (facebook) has come back to bite someone I know in the A$$!

Then the interviewer seen his facebook page.

Told him that what he had on his page did not protray the values of the company.

He walked away, back to his $30,000 job.

So sad!

Yes, people need to be careful what they put on the internet including religious and political views.  You can compromise a job, a friend, a client over a simple 'like' these days.

William... this is one great cartoon to get the message across. Never did figure out why so many people feel they have to "let it all hang out" on their social media. (But then I'm thinking it's a generational thing for me.)

Following someone's posts on Facebook can give you a real insight into their personalities. It doesn't even have to be bad necessarily. But it gives employers pause to consider them. Great post.

Totally agree. This cartoon says it all. Don't say what you don't want the world to know on the internet.

Oh No .... I feel we all may have moments when we want to bang on the keyboard and vent our frustrations.  When I feel that ... I step back and step away ... gain perspective ... meditate.

I can't figure out the fascination with telling your life story on Facebook. But then, I can't figure out any of the fascination with Facebook. Seems like a waste of time to me.

It's unbelievable to me that amount of stuff that people put "out there" for the world to see.

haha, that picture is great!

I keep telling people to keep their lives more private, but seems it is not very popular these days of selfies and 'what i'm doing now'' posts.

I am always careful of what I personally post on Facebook or any social media.  Usually I just post a link to me blogs here in the Rain.  If someone posts something I find inappropriate, I watch them for a few days.  If they do it again they go away.

Best to not post the nasty parts of life online for all to see forever.  As you said, it can come back to get you.

Hello William ...

Love the cartoon and you are so right about what people put on the web ;o/

Vegas Bob/Alaska Bob is quite a daring person when it comes to material that I had put on the web.

I post about AREA 51, FBI, bad cops, bad companies and so much more! It's funny I am still around to leave this comment, but I voice my opinions about everything and I am not scared to do so.

And if there ever was a major problem, I feel I am too old to worry about it and or I could just fall off the grid.

There are many more VB/AB's right behind me ;o)

William

We should think twice before we post anything on Facebook or the Internet.

Good luck and success.
