My Top Moment of 2015 was coming back to ACTIVERAIN

My Top Ten Moment in 2015
10) Private Pilots license - I have over 57 hours of flying 30+ solo and should have my private license but stopped flying years back. I started back and hope to complete soon in 2016.
9) Came back to ActiveRain - left ActiveRain for some time, no reason other than procrastination. It’s great to be back reading great educational blog post and being amongst old friends. I even sent another member a referral in 2015.
8) Medical - Had carpal tunnel syndrome on right wrist. Probably from doing hair 21+years, twisting and bending not to mention working on the farm and falling off a horse when I was six years old and never had my broken wrist wrapped properly.
7) Trip to the Beach - I rarely take trips but went to Galveston just south of Houston TX. Enjoyed the beach and salt water.
6) July Wedding at State Capitol - My partner and I was able to be married in Texas July 4th, 2015. After twenty years worrying about medical decisions we might have to make for each other is not longer an issue. Its great to have the benefits from the Military Retirement I didn’t have in the past.
5) License to Carry- Jim and I decided after twenty years we should buy a handgun and get our license to carry. As the new year allows us to openly carry in the state of Texas many business do not allow this.
4) Competed backyard fish pond - total redo of our backyard koi pond with waterfall. I’ve often wondered if pond over one foot deep is a liability to homeowner selling but I guess it’s no different than having a swimming pool.
3) Adopted three Lab puppies - After being without dogs in our home for two months we decided to adopt three Lab puppies, two blonde's, one black. Goldie, Peach and Snow Flake.
2) Loss Best Friend - Sad to loose our last Jack Russell “Tuffy” he was going on seventeen years and out of five Jack Russells he was our last, they’re all buried below the hill on our property.
1) Changed Offices - Our Broker RE/MAX Capital City has three offices located within Austin TX. I moved from the Cedar Park office to the Austin office to better serve my market areas.
