AT provides the most realistic PR training environment available to more than 2,700 USAF Rescue forces, as well as their Joint, Interagency, and International partners to engage in a variety of personnel recovery scenarios.
The overall Angel Thunder scenario will take place in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. The environment will provide the maximum amount of variety in training scenarios in a fictional Southwest country. Various exercises will take place within this setting, to include air-sea battle, security cooperation, interagency operations, and support to civil authorities focused on catastrophic incident search and rescue.
