Stone Mountain Village Real Estate and Home Value News Jan 2016
This is one neighborhood in Delta that has seen some major market improvement over the last two years. This was once a foreclosure driven neighborhood and now these types of sales are few and far between. Home values have also gone up quite a bit over the last two years.
In 2013 the average sold price was $153,195. Seven homes sold and three of them were bank owned. There was one sale over $200,000.
Here's sold information for 2015:
- Seven homes have sold. The sold prices range from $167,000 to $267,900.
- The average sold price is $199,378.
- The median sold price is $193,750.
- Three sales were over $200,000.
- That's a 30% increase in the average sold price since 2013. The average sold price has gone up a bit since 2014 as well. In 2014 the average price was $198,690.
Here's the current listing information:
- There are five active listings. Prices range from $177,000 to $235,000. Four of them are priced over $200,000.
- The average listed price is $208,214.
- There is one listing pending a sale.
I think we can expect to see the sales activity increase across the county and in Stone Mountain Village.

The year end statistics aren't in as of yet, but so far overall sales in 2015 have topped those in 2014.
