Back in the 80's alot of emphasis was placed on what awards an agent had received. Clients would ask what awards we had gotten in the past 3 years and most of us had plaques and frames plastered over the office walls. I then went to work for a brokerage that did not have an awards program and the whole idea went by the wayside. I don't even recall any clients asking about them during those years. I normally receive the top sales agent for the year and that was good enough.
Now working for Keller Williams they do pass out awards each month for top achievers and considering there are 170 plus agents at KW, many of which are top agents, it is nice to get an award once in awhile. I found that I was shyly accepting my awards each month and sticking them in my desk.

Then in November I had a listing appointment where a client actually asked me what awards I had received. So I pulled them all out of my desk and was a little more than suprised and just how many I had racked up. From June 2015 to October 2015 I had 9 awards.
