Don't Forget to Stage your Porch when Selling Your Home

Managing Real Estate Broker with Regal | Christie's International Real Estate BK659279

Everyone loves a Porch! Front Porch, Side or Back Porch.

Home Buyers Absolutely Love Porches!

Rocking Chair Porches, or a Porch that can fit an inviting swing are always in demand throughout the country. These porches always seem to add great curb appeal and entice home buyers.  Don't forget staging these areas to add curb appeal and living space.

Make your porch feel as inviting as your interior spaces by using great oudoor fabrics, and comfortable seating. When Staging, don't forget to add the following:

Plump Throw Pillows

Accent Furniture

Cocktail Table

Accessories from garage sales or flea markets

Repurpose furniture from inside your home

Outdoor area rugs

Fresh Flowers and plants

Add a Throw

Mildew resistant linens

Lifestyle Enhancements

Many of these tips were taken from Jeannie Matteucci's article featured on Porch Furniture and Accessories | Seating Secrets for your Porch

You have a good idea.  Making the porch friendly, comfortable and attractive is a good idea.

You are right, porch staging is an absolute must.  We don't see much of it here as most front porches are treated like a mud room entrance to the home.  But if it is large and useable, the seller is missing out on a selling opportunity.

Thank you all for stopping by and commenting. Buyers have a front porch or backyard patio on their wish lists more frequently than many other features. It is one of those features that almost everyone wants.
