Mayoral Pre-Inauguration in the Big H

That Would be Houston

Market Square

I headed to downtown Houston to visit a few places. There is always something happening at the Market Square; and today was no exception.

I had forgotten that today was Houston's new mayor's pre- inauguration celebration and The Market Square was where it was being held at.

Pre Inuguaral Band

They had a great band and great speeches were expounded. We danced a little too! There were dancers and fun people everywhere.

Serious Security Suits

Security was top notch as you can see by these serious security suits.

We got to meet the new mayor and we took a picture for the occasion.

Mayor Turner

I love Houston and miss working downtown!  Time to look into selling downtown condos!

Sussie,
In the 35 years I lived in Houston I saw many mayors come and go. I hope this is a good one.

Good morning Sussie. Hopefully, the new Mayor will  do a good job for your great city.

I too have high hopes. Houston has a lot of things they need to fix and I just don't know how the tax dollars are being spent. Having worked for a municipality before I know the dollars are always stretched thin.
