New realtor.com® Agent Profiles Help Promote Agents’ Personal Brands

Realtor.com® has created new agent profiles that better serve the needs of all REALTORS® by providing reliable information about the agent to engage buyers and sellers in their search experience. The beta version of the new profile was tested in several markets before being pushed live nationally mid-November.

 

As consumers continue to start their home searches online, it behooves all agents to ensure their profiles – including photos, contact information and recommendations – are up to date and present the agent and their personal brand in the best light.

 

Consumer inquiries generated on realtor.com® profiles are delivered directly to the agent.

We’ve also put together a series of instructional videos that will help agents, should they need the extra help. We want to make sure agents know about these changes, and have the opportunity to put their best foot forward through their realtor.com® profile.

 

Here’s how agents can maximize the benefit of their realtor.com® profile today:

  • Update their contact information and photo
  • Secure recommendations (new agents can get recommendations from friends and business associates)
  • Collect reviews from past clients

You are correct about how important profiles up to date rich in information, that online branding is the right mix of white space, font, photos. The look you put into all your marketing in print and around the Internet. To be consistent. Since November 4th of 2015 have wrestled to get the digital ad package add on to the enhanced REALTOR dot com site looking correctly. For a spell it was not even showing up when we kept reaching out to someone behind the blue and gold curtain to get the professional look feature humming and to be live. Still waiting for accounting call back that was promised weeks ago. Service we provide is our life blood. Other than sales to get a credit card number, the back and forth is missing for service from REALTOR dot com.

I am hoping that Realtor.com gets better and better.  The new ads are really a BIG improvement and I hope they are attracting more folks to the website.

Just to clarify, ActiveRain is NOT owned by Move, Inc. ActiveRain was purchased in July of 2015 by Ben Kinney. Prior to that it was owned by the Zillow Group.

You are correct that REALTOR.com is owned by Move, Inc.

Thanks for the update. I attended the realtor.com Tech Savvy Agent workshop in Kansas City, MO in mid-december. I was very pleased with the workshop and gained valuable information for training purposes to our Branson and Lake of the Ozarks market centers.  Very impressed with the strides that realtor.com is making.
