If you have heard the saying: "The Cobbler's children have no shoes" stands true in my house!
We have been in our first and only home for almost 16 years. Like any home some features we love and some we absolutely wanted to change or I want to move out of the home. However, raising kids & busy work life we never got time to work on our home. Time flew by!
Being in the industry, I knew many contractors whom I can trust and get the job done. And this happened as a part of our holiday gift.
One of our friend & a wonderful owner of Artistik Construction brought my dream come true. They have over 20+ years of industry experience. I have seen their job completed in many of my clients and friends home from beautiful patios, decks, kitchen & bath remodeling, basements and other major projects.
It started at holiday dinner I shared with him my desire to knock a load bearing wall that stands between my beautiful solarium & kitchen see pictures below. Next thing he drew up my dislikes of kitchen and solarium into a dream come true home I have been wanting for years. Irresistible!!
One thing lead to the other owner Parag Shah brought his team to my house following date, schedule meetings, drawings of the plans and work started on New Years Eve!

They removed the load bearing wall, moved pantry and the whole center Island was moved so I can have a large island with even space on both the side.
I don't think my phone numbers justify the fine quality job they have done so far. I will write up a follow-up blog with the final pictures.
However I do want to shout out and thank the professional team of Artistik Construction for all their help, guidance, tolerating me, creativity & above all fine details to the quality of construction I crave for.
