Today Is The 12th Day Of Christmas!

12 Drummers Drumming

and tomorrow it's the whole family packing.

Packing up ChristmasToday is the 12th Day Of Christmas and that means pack it up in our home.

I will be sorry to see it go. The house looks so empty after taking down the decorations and the real feeling of Winter sets in. I think the house even feels colder!

With all the decorations down it may be a good time to consider some painting inside the house. Up here on the North Coast you won't be doing anything outside (except maybe some shoveling) so get out the paint and spruce up the place. If you are going to spruce it up to get ready to sell in the spring make sure you read the responses to my question about what paint to use when presenting your home for sale right here.

Of course if you are planning on selling this spring NOW is the time to call National Marketing Realtors.

I took down all of my Christmas decorations literally the day after. It's like a band-aid; just rip it off.

Hi Bob - I definately is a chore taking them down.  I feel a sense of accomplishment when I have them all tucked away in the basement without using more space than I was using before.

Bob- with each year, I put up fewer and fewer Christmas decorations.  It's not that I don't have the spirit, I'm just getting to lazy.

Hi Bob... my stuff came down over a two day period last weekend. I'm always sad to see it "go."
