Work with Them on Their Schedule Not Yours
Ours is a service based business. We have no products to sell and we get our compensation only when a client real estate deal closes. So why would we try to manipulate a client to show them homes when it was convenient for us. We may feel that they should make the time to see homes during reasonable hours to us even though they are working the job that will pay for the home.

When we sit down with our clients to create a plan of business for them, the size, type and location of their desired purchase are discussed as well as the price range. When they are available to see homes is also worked in, yet some agents will push the envelope to get them into hours that are more convenient for themselves.
The clients will take enough time off from work to attend to their inspections, meeting with their lenders, and also for closing, which has to be done within the times for normal banking hours here in the state of Connecticut.
I recently started working with a client that has very erratic working hours and most specific needs for a home that entails a large area and at odd hours. Their previous agent tried to restrict the geography and pushed the hours that limited the clients opportunities. This made for a very stressful working arrangement and a release f he agent very quickly.
A home purchase can be very stressful and creating barriers to the client does not help in any way. We are service providers, we should provide the service and not limit access to a client in any way.
