Superbowl & how it affects real estate

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX of Valencia (Hall of Fame) 30 year Valencia Resident BRE# 01215778

The first thing that comes to mind during the NFL Playoffs and especially Superbowl Sunday is the Open House.  The people out looking at homes during the playoffs and the parties that ensue are truly highly motivated or simply not Football Fans.  The agents that are taking them out to see homes are highly dedicated to their clients or simply not Football Fans.

This is a terrific time for a seller to list their home should they also be in the market to purchase a home.  There are much less buyers during the NFL Playoffs so an offer, even a contingent offer, will be taken seriously.  The Superbowl, NFL Playoffs, Post Holiday Lag and Inclement Weather all make this as close to a buyer's market as we've seen in the past few years.

Thinking of Selling at this time?  Call Tony & Dani Lewis with RE/MAX of Valencia at 661-510-7975

We will guide you through the process and advise you of the best timing and when it is best for you to list your home.

Buying a home at this time is most advisable.  Call us to have listings sent to you daily that fit the details of your home search.

See everyone in the area of a super bowl lately has gone crazy with trying to rent homes out, even vacation for a week to rent out.

It used to be a great time to go to ammusement parks.  Sadly, the word has gotten out about that and it's now too crowded.

Tony Lewis though many people are into football, you are right, people who are still looking at the homes are really serious about buying a home.

You are so right, Tony Lewis .   The NFL playoff season and the Superbowl have become a prolonged national holiday.   Most Sundays, people are glued to the TV, watching the pre-game show and the pre-pre-game shows.   Anyone out looking at houses is probably quite serious!
