The downward shift on China’s Shanghai Composite Index as the new year began has shifted the immediate outlook for fixed mortgage rate on 30 year loans.
Freddie Mac reported that the 30 year fixed rate mortgages have dropped from the last week in December, which averaged 4.01 percent to 3.97 percent. This is a dip of 4 basis points.
