Beaumont CA short sales seeing a rise in numbers
Beaumont has been at the forefront of the market boom, crash, foreclosure frenzy, short sale sell-off and subsequent correction to a normal market once again. But with the unsure nature of real estate values, the over-all economy and now global economy affecting us like never before, the short sale option has seen a resurgence here in the city of Beaumont, California.
As of writing this blog (January 2016) there are 51 Beaumont short sales either active, pending or on back-up status. Over the past year-over-year, Beaumont has seen 92 successful short sales, with another 65 either expired, canceled or withdrawn.
And now with interest rates geared to rise due to the recent Fed's hike and more possibly coming, and the attrition of inventory due to values not cracking many potential seller's wash-their-hands-of-a-property mark, short sales are primed to once again to be a significant portion of the Beaumont real estate market.
