Are Manteo Home Prices Going Up?

It depends on how closely you dissect the data. Homes on the north end of Roanoke Island saw a decrease in the median price while home on the south end, where Manteo proper is actually located, saw an increase in the median price. The town of Manteo also experienced an increase in the number of homes sold.

While the rest of the island is still stagnant, home prices in Manteo are actually going up. This is good news for home owners in Manteo.
