What in the World is Weltanschauung as it Refers to Active Rain?
I have been reading blogs for the last few months and seeing "weltanschauung." I thought it was something that all AR members should know, but I didn't have a clue. I knew by the thought each time it was mentioned that it had something to do with the culture of AR. Well, come to find out it does.
I would say that weltanschauung as it refers to Active Rain is the area where agents can share concepts and information according to their point of view.
We as AR members provide the value of this site. Each and every blogger enters information that is of interest in some way to others. Sometimes it is Just For Fun when we need a good laugh and other times it is very technical. We provide value to this site by what we contribute.
Each geographical area has unique experiences in real estate. This site due to the diversity of agents 
from graphical areas we learn by sharing our experiences. Markets in all areas are different as well. Sharing this information is educational and useful.
AR members believe home ownership is important. Personally my goal is to help as many first time home buyers to be able to own their home.
AR encourages diversity in membership of AR. We learn from all types of business professionals.
AR encourages constructive dialog and free exchange of ideas and reasoning behind those ideas. You Are Not Alone When You Share on AR
AR does not plan for everyone to agree. Differing points of view are important and encouraged, but attacking another personally for their opinion is not acceptable.
AR is open to constructive ideas to better serve the members. Ideas are encouraged to continually improve and keep AR up-to-date.
Active Rain is a site where members share their expertise with other agents. It has been great for me as I have been out of real estate for a number of years. The business has changed so much and each day I can add to my skills by getting on the site and reading from the AR University, Boot Camp or member blogs. I am grateful to AR and the AR members for the help and education I have received here.
