For the 2016 Blog Jumpstart Challenge I will be commenting on a couple Community
Guidelines that make AR a successful blogging site.
Real estate agents are very competitive, self motivated and are always searching for new paths to gain success. Realtors enjoy a challenge, if they are not number one they are hoping to be and working towards being number one. The points given for blogs and comments, etc. in ActiveRain present a challenge to agents. For many agents in the beginning the goal is to gain points to a level of at least some prestige on AR. Each AR member may set different goal levels. For me the goal was to have more points than most of the agents that from my city and county. I have met that goal. Now I am diversifying from my points goal and using all of the information available on AR to learn as much as possible about Social Media. The points continue to be important to me, but quality and results is now my number one priority.
ActiveRain is successful because of the respect agents show to each other and the industry. Although the site encourages controversial opinions, these are given in a manner that everyone has a right to their own opinion and that is O.K.
Because of the Community Guidelines ActriveRain is very successful. I wish I had known about this site a long time ago.
