Boise Idaho Housing Snapshot December 2015

The Most Notable statistic again this Month is the level of inventory of homes currently available in Boise Idaho at 2.5 months down from 2.7 months in November!!  However the median sales price dropped slightly from $240,300 to $232,500.  See the current price points for all Boise Idaho Zip Codes HERE.  The number of homes closed in Boise Idaho in December were up from November (621 to  785).  Many of those sales were pushed from November to December due to the delays from the new Lending reqirements that went in to affect in October (TRID). All indicators still point to this being the perfect time to sell  a home in Boise Idaho. If you are considering buying a home in Boise Idaho or the surrounding areas you can still find deals on a house, but having a good real estate agent who understands the market is a must. Don’t wait on the sidelines for too long, many of our our best listings do sell within a few days of hitting the market. As you can see from the graph below, listings are not selling exactly for asking price. To make sure you don't overpay for your home, you'll want to have an agent that does a thorough market analysis of the  Boise Idaho home on which you are making an offer.
