It is winter time and as a result we see more overcast  and cloudy sky.  I have come to the conclusion that the appearance of the sky does affect one's mood.

When the sun is shining,  and the sky is a deep blue with fluffy clouds diifting by, I feel more upbeat.

I know I am not alone.

You're not alone. There is actually something called seasonal depression I believe. Winter when it's cold, darker, and rainy/snow. There is less to do outside and people get more depressed. The vitamins from the sun, the warmth, and beauty will make me smile any day!

Hi Jennifer, This is the reason we open our blinds and shades wide first thing in the morning.  Even on days when it's not completly sunny, welcoming in some of the natural light helps lift spirits.
