Throwback Thursday's with a Twist Roger D. Mucci  would appreciate this:)))

Well let me backtrack, I have lived in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts for give or take about 30 years, now with that said came many a trips under the heading: “let’s go into the city” simple translation lets go to New York City. I do not care what age group you fall in, 20’s 30’s or 40’s and the list can go on and on New York City has something to offer you.

The best bars, the best restaurants, the best clubs, the best bakeries, the best coffee shops, the best specialty food store and the list goes on an and on. I could be talking about Jazz Club, specialty shopping whatever New York City has it.

When I relocated to Boston, MA it was like a mini New York City, quieter, slower passed but the same on a smaller scale. When Diane and I wanted to let loose we would go to the City, New York City that is.

Since we moved to the West Coast, Diane periodically said we need to go to New York City…. These comments became fewer and fewer as the years past….

Now go figure last year of all people Diane got on the Mailing list for well Zabar’s & Dean & Deluca’s. Ironically I do the food blogs, I do the cooking and I do the specialty shopping for the kitchen. So how did Diane get on their Mailing List??? Well I suspect these specialty stores knew if they harassed Diane it would force me to say OK let’s go to New York City.

So what are your thoughts about this subject? All I know is if you are considering re-locating from New York or Massachusetts I can help you, especially if you are debating if there are replacement stores for Dean & Deluca as well as Zabar’s I know the comparable stores.
