Hunters Point is a large, well established community of 158 homes located in the Rockrimmon / Peregrine area of Colorado Springs.

Within a 5 mile radius are numerous technology companies including the extensive Hewlett-Packard campus.

In the extended area known as the Briargate Business Campus are financial and technology companies including USAA, and T-Mobile.

Just a few miles further north are more technology or defense contracting firms including Lockheed-Martin, Oracle and FedEx.

 

There were 9 sales in 2015.

Sold prices ranged from $390,000 up to $844,500.

The median sold price was $490,000.

Median price per square foot was $115

None of them were short sales.

Median days on market were = 80 days.

 

The majority of the homes in Hunters Point, 153 of them, were built between 1986 and 1992. Five have been built since 1992.

 

 

The houses average 4.3 bedrooms with a maximum of 6 bedrooms.

All of the homes have an over-sized garage of 460 square feet or larger.

The average garage size is 741 square feet.

55 of the houses, 35%, are one story.

About 3.5 miles to the northwest is the Pike National Forest which can be accessed via the Blodgett Peak Opens Space trail-head.

 

 

Nearby parks, Wilson Ranch Park and Oak Valley Ranch Park, offer a pool, water park, skateboard park, tennis courts, softball field, basketball courts, play areas and big green spaces.

Across I-25, Garden Ranch Park offers softball, soccer, basketball, sand volleyball and a children’s play area.
