The arts are alive and well in Colonial Williamsburg

If you are a lover of theatre and the arts, you will find lots of things to do in the Williamsburg area. 

 

A favorite venue for locals as well as visitors is the Kimball Theatre which is located at 428 West Duke of Gloucester Street in Merchant Square in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg.

 

Visitors to the Kimball Theatre enjoy historic plays, featured films and musical productions.

 

If you prefer Shakespeare, you will probably enjoy attending the Virginia Shakespeare Festival at the college of William and Mary.

 

The art enthusiast will enjoy the Dewitt Museum of Art which is located on Frances Street just outside of Merchant Square.
