Do share...
Les sold his Martin guitar at a huge appreciation a couple of years back. I can tell he still misses it.

Hi Rene - I was always an acoustic classical guy back in the day, but I can certainly appreciate nice craftsmanship. I've fooled around with a couple of Fenders and really liked the sound.

I have never been very musically inclined, but I certainly love listening to people play instruments like the guitar!

Thanks Mark and Laura Anderson !! When in Gig Harbor, WA I discovered a really great little music store full of Gretsch and Fender guitars.
Laura here. I used to play a long time ago. Wasn't any good. Love photography that is interesting and your photo really did catch my eye.
I must have spent at least a half a bazillion hours Kathy Streib playing the guitar as a kid. ;O)
I can understand Sarah... Les & Sarah Oswald ... A Martin! Wow! I had a guitar shop back in the day and over the years my prized collection has gone its way. I still have my Johnny Smith Gibson, I could never let that one go I've had it since 1968! And a custom Fender Stratocaster I picked up in the 1990s... and a couple of acoustic guitars that aren't really worth much, but I've had them a long time and can't part with them...

Hi Dick Greenberg ... I love them all, acoustic or electric... I love guitar design. Do you play now?
I wish I could, Rene, but I've got some arthritis in my hands and can't practice consistently. Sill have my Ovation, though.
Well that's an okay thing Brian England my friend. Not much use playing them if there's never anyone around to appreciate listening to them. :O)

I like those "first loves." They aren't likely to break your heart like some first loves are!

Rene, my sister has a guitar room in her house, along with a bunch of banjos that her boyfriend plays amazingly well.

They know a little about guitars here in CT, Rene, a division of Kaman Corp that makes Ovations
hahahaha - I should have known it would be music related, Rene. Wonderful photo and title.
Hi Myrl Jeffcoat ... exactly! Though, there's an old saying... Guitar's can be a very jealous love. ;O)
Hi Patricia Kennedy ... Cool! Love banjos too! Though I don't play one. I do love string instruments.
I wish I still had my Ovation guitar Ed Silva !! But then I wish had most of the guitars I once had! I forgot about the Conneticut connection. Two of my favorite Ovation guitar players were Glen Campbell and Robert Fripp. Loved the tone!
Hi Debb... Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD ... :O) Thanks! One of my first businesses was a guitar shop. Whenever I discover a locally owned music store it brings me joy. They're like little cultural centers and I love the way people meet each other from very different lives, yet one thing brings them together, making music!
