We'll keep this quick since I know you're all busy. Feel free to watch the video and call me for more info.

Active inventory is only 261, definitely low.  In the last 7 days there were 20 new listings, a pretty decent number this time of year.  In the same time period there were 9 units sold.  The average sale price was $106/sq ft, towards the lower end of 'normal' for this market, wich ranges from $100-$125/sq ft.

Lakefront, new construction and homes on acreage will obviously command higher prices than this figure.

There are 10 rentals in the MLS, lower than typical, but not unexpected at this time of year.  Remember that some landlords advertise on their own through craigslist or other venues, and also apartments and property management companies tend to shy away from the MLS, too.  There's plenty of rental inventory out there in Howell, you just can't do 'one stop shopping' for it like you can for a home purchase.

And apartments in Howell are generally better priced and more available than those in the nearby Brighton area.  Howell's a great location for commuting to Lansing, Flint, Ann Arbor, or even the west suburbs of Detroit.  And their downtown is really perking up, too!  Call me at 810-220-1478 and I'll clue you in.

Yes, the differences can be both eye-opening and interesting, Ronald DiLalla.
