Learn how to sell and buy a home and coordinate the process

Today's video is about moving. If you currently own a home and you want to buy another home. The video below will give you tips on how to begin the process.

I recently took a refersher course. My husband and I decided to sell our home and buy a brand new home all in the span of sixty days. Lucky for us, I've helped so many people through this process, I just treated like another real estate transaction.

 

 

Steps to Selling and Buying another home:

Step #1. Call me 703-851-3085. I will come see your home and give you and idea of what it could sell for, and what you might need to do to get it market ready.

Step# 2. Contact a local Loan Officer to see what your options are with regard to financing. Here are three local lenders who will allow you to get pre-approved online

Step #3. I will run a market snapshot for you to show you what you could get for your current home. What closing costs sellers are paying in your area and how long it will take to sell. Find out what your Prince William County Virginia home is worth now.

Step #4. I will give you some of our NEW HOME Visitor Cards just in case you decide to head out to visit new homes. Keep in mind, if you do, when you register, if you do not tell them you are working with a REALTOR you give away your right for a agent to coach and guide you and coordinate the process. Builders have two years in Virginia to build your home...so coordination is key to your success.

Step #5 I will explore the option of you renting your home with your loan officer. If you can rent your home, or sell it after your move, then the process will be easier for you.
