Wordless Wednesday and Dreaming of Kaua'i
There was no particular reason to be thinking of this other than looking forward to a vacation - our weather is pretty decent. But I sure would be dreaming of a warm sunny place if I was back East. Hope the storm is not as bad as they are predicting! Be safe everyone. Or escape to somewhere warm.
This is a view of the Napali Coast from the Kalalau Lookout point beyond Waimea Canyon on the western shore of Kaua'i. Spectacular!

Yep, I get that. The day we finalized the negotiations on our 1st house here in Carlsbad back in January 2005 (and we were here!) there were 33 inches of snow back in Cambridge, reaffirming our decision was the right one. I believe that date was the 22nd!
Kaua'i was beautiful and I look forward to a return trip, hopefully this year

I wish we were having rain! What we had a couple of weeks ago was wonderful but certanly not enough. But it's beautiful here right now and in the mid 60s...no complaints!

Oh you should definitely get there. We've been to Kaua'i twice and Maui once and I like them both for different reasons. Hope to get to Kaua'i this year

The storm they are predicting should go East of the Dakotas Jeff Dowler CRS but I feel for those they are saying may get a couple of feet of the white stuff.
Oh, to be in Hawaii right now! I would love it. We got married in Maui....such an incredibly loving place.
