A little about you...

I am a lifelong resident of East Providence. I am married with two children and one really little dog (5lb min pin). I enjoy reading, exercising and spending time with my family.

Why the mortgage field as a career?

My strong points have always been providing outstanding customer service and having the ability to solve problems. Both skills I get to use everyday in the mortgage industry.

What did you do before the mortgage industry? 

From 1995-2000, just before I joined Shamrock Financial as a loan officer, I had worked as a sales and leasing consultant for Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk Ma. For four years prior to that I delivered pizza for Papa Gino's while I attended college.

I also have some experience working in sales and driving for Frito Lay.

What do you like most about the mortgage industry?

I really enjoy tackling a hard to finance loan request and putting together a loan solution that really works for my client.

Favorite Quote.

Today I have two quotes I am fond of.

"If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room."

That quote means a lot to me because in my life and career I have been very lucky to have been around and to have worked with some highly successful people. I have learned much by being around them and still continue to learn from some by their example.

"Fall down 7 times, Stand up 8." 

There is a lot of fight in me and I believe we can learn a lot from our failures as well as growing stronger as we take the lessons and continue to push on.

Describe a great family day.

It would start with a lazy morning followed by a mini road trip to discover our next new favorite place to eat.

What is your favorite season?

Fall. I love a nice crisp autumn night with a full moon and the smell of a wood burning fireplace in the air.

What do you like to read?

Biographies, self-improvement, sci-fi, westerns, historical fiction and a handful of comic books.

What type of movies do you like?

Right now, when I have time for a movie it is usually something from Marvel or DC.

Favorite TV shows?

Forensic Files and anything home improvement or home sales on HGTV.
