Al Roker Says RE8 in Baltimore Will Be Rescheduled

Real Estate Technology with ActiveRain

(Does Al Roker still do the weather on the Today show?)

We recently wrote about the RE8 Workshop that Ben was planning to do in Linthicum Heights Maryland on Monday, January 25th.

Unfortunately, in conjunction with our on the ground organizers, we've had to make a really tough call and postpone RE8 due to a large snowstorm scheduled to hit the Baltimore region this weekend.

We know that lots of people who were planning to attend would be traveling in from some rather extended distances, so instead of force people to make the decision between their safety and a really great learning opportunity (because you should pick your safety and we don't want people to miss out) we are rescheduling the event.

We are working to get the new date secured and will update everyone once that date has been confirmed. If you were scheduled to attend, you will receive some messaging about the cancellation as well as how it will be handled regarding your ticket.

Stay safe and warm out there this weekend!

15 minutes of travel time for me! I was so looking forward to it but understand. Safety first. I'll be watching for announcements and will enjoy a glass of wine with Margaret Rome and others at our MeetUp instead.

Yes, that's too bad.  But, it happens all the time here in Jan/Feb.  This is also why it's best to avoid meetups for this time of year.  Next year, they should be in March.

Good call on this one and hopefully you'll have it reset soon.

Thansk for the heads up, it is a 5 hour drive for me. I have been waiting to see how bad the snow is before I bought a ticket.

Roker does still do the weather!

Safety should always win out, so this was a good call. Even if it turns out to be a dud of a storm, it was the right decision.

This is a wise decision.  It looks like snow in some areas could accumulate 24 inches.  This is the time of year I love living in Dallas. Stay safe everyone.

I used to love the singsong commercial, "You missed Al Roker's forecast!" and they'd show someone with no umbrella in a thunderstorm, etc.
