Auto Tip - Cracked Windshield? Repairing it instead or replacing may save you $!

Here in The Colony with all this construction in the area, I have had my windshield broken twice.

Don't we all hate to drive behind the semi's because of the fear of debris flying out and breaking our windshield?

Well, if this should happen to you and if the size of the damage is less than 6 inches, then it's possible that your windshield can be repaired instead of replaced.  This would keep the auto manufactor seal in tact and it may be free of charge (depending on the type of auto policy coverage you carry) because Farmers Insurance (and some other insurance carriers) waives the deductible.

So now you know, you have options!

I didn't know they could repair cracks in windshields...  That's a great idea.  Thanks for the information!  :)
