Bucktown is a neighborhood in Chicago whose boundaries are North Ave (S), Armitage Ave (N), Damen Ave (E) and Western Ave (W). Early Polish immigrants raised goats in the area and called it "kozie prery" or "goat plain" hense the name was changed to "Bucktown" in reference to the male goat. Today Bucktown is a very trendy neighborhood with easy access to downtown Chicago, good restaurants, and local artists.
