As I try to enjoy my morning cup of Joe and await impending East Coast doom, I realize that my mornings are becoming increasingly more depressing. I don't know about your neck of the woods, but here in Cape May County, more specifically, the Wildwoods, we have an absence of good quality inventory. We have so many recycled 3 bedroom 2 bath condos on the market that it is enough to make your head spin. If an agent puts up a good quality listing that is priced right, it will usually sell in a short amount of time. There are just to many listings changing hands with different agents instead of pricing it correctly with one.
I am wondering if agents are asking their sellers if they need to unload their properties or if they are just fishing around, seeing what they can catch as an offer.
What is your market like? Are you seeing an increase in quality listings or the same over-priced units?
