Looking for things to do this winter? Check out the Coulee Region Chill. The Chill are a junior league team that plays teams from around the region. Their season goes from late September until early April.

Admission and concessions are cheap - great for group or family entertainment. The arena is located on Green Island - free parking!. The arena is small so you are right in the action. And this action is non stop. I'm not a hockey fan, and I don't understand the rules, but I love going to games because they are always playing (ok, and for the hard board checks).

If you go, remember to dress warmly. It may be inside, but it is cool inside to maintain the ice.

I've always wanted to go to a hockey game! We never have ice here, so no hockey. And like you, I don't know any of the rules, but it sure looks like it would be fun to watch in person, Joan Dickie.

I like hockey but my husband doesn't because he doesn't understand the rules. I think it is fast and exciting.
