REAL ESTATE MARKETS CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN VALUES

It’s been some time since the market fallout in 2006 and the great recession.  Our real estate market has put back on most of the values it had lost, and in most parts of Costa Mesa and Orange County we are close to historical market high prices again.

We are fortunate, at least now.  I was at a conference recently and met some other Realtors from outside of our state, and their markets have not completely rebounded from their price lows.  We are fortunate here because we have had a complete recovery cycle.  Our real estate markets are highly priced, and prices are stable for the most part.  Low interest rates have fueled a lot of our rebound and growth.  Builders are building again, and there are lots of owners who are remodeling their homes.

We are lucky- as I mentioned.  Many markets have not had the large recovery that we have enjoyed.  New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Charlotte have not seen as much new growth in prices as we have seen.

I look at this chart and I also realize what a great opportunity you have as a Orange County seller if you are relocating to most other parts of the country.

Those going to surrounding states like Texas, Arizona, and Oregon stand to see significant deals and chances to create wealth from their home sales here in Orange County.
