Today I Read a Blog and Responded With a Phone Call

 

As most of the Active Rain reader know Part of the North East Coast was hit by a Blizzard others were hit by snow and ice storms . This morning when I read this post I was concerned for Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland she asked if you would like to know how I made it in give me a call . So I did . What a delight to talk to her .  If you have never called in give her a ring  It was wonderful to speak with her . Margaret so glad you are safe .

I was sincerely worried about you .

Live Radio Show The Rome Way

At noon every Sunday I do a live radio show. But has anyone noticed we had a BLIZZARD in Baltimore?

The town is shut down. My plan is to go into the station for the noon live radio program.

Sure hope there is someone there to run the show.

If you are up and listening, take a break from the shoveling.

If I do manage to get to the station, call in and say Hi.

Hi Hannah,

Glad you and Maraget are safe. I have family in Allentown and this photo is from mid-day on Saturday and they had snow falling until 10PM. They finally got shoveled out and unburied the car earlier today. Thought I would share a photo they sent me. 

Thgere is a car under there somewhere,

Debbie Laity She is a very special lady Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland I met her in person at a ReBarCamp with Sheldon Neal  back in 2009 he was so excited that she was coming . I remember it was a sunny day in Philadelphia . So many wonderful bloggers were there .

Ed Silva  She is a Lady that knows how to work a room and her business . She is always ready to help anyone and everybody . That is why when I read her post that said she was driving in to the station after the Blizzard and call her . I had to respond with a call .

Debbie Reynolds  i do make calls to members ..In fact Ed Silva  and I keep in touch . I do periodically call some members . Most are very glad to hear from me but there are one or two that are busy  or non responsive . On the whole I have made many good friends in the Rain .

Hello again Hannah and yes, most of the upper east coast has more snow than Anchorage, Wasilla, Homer, etc.

Most of the snow is in the higher elevation, mountains and I think there is only approx 3 inches on the ground around Anchorage 

And of course I can call Maryland from Alaska ... silly girl
